and Randolph County on the west by Tucker County West Virginia.
The Mt. Storm Power Station is located in the County on Mt. Storm Lake in the rugged
Allegheny Mountains of northeastern West Virginia.
The 1,200-acre lake, built to serve the station also serves as a recreational area.
The Mt. Storm Power Station is the largest coal-fired power station managed by Dominion.
Mt. Storm's three units can generate more than 1,600 megawatts of electricity as much in one hour as
160 average homes use in one year.

PETERSBURG, W.Va. — On Monday February 22nd 2009 at 1305 Hrs the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department (Company 400) was alerted for the Motor Vehicle Accident on Route 28/55. Rescue Engine 495, Rescue 491, Attack 497 and Utility 490 responded.

MOOREFIELD, W.Va. — On Monday February 22nd 2010 at 1930 Hrs the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department (Company 400) was alerted to assist the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Department (Company 46) with a Fully Involved Structure Fire on River Road behind the 84 Lumber. Rescue Engine 495 and Tanker 492 responded.

MAYSVILLE, W.Va. — On Monday December 14th 2009 at 0710 Hrs the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department (Company 400) was alerted to assist the Maysville Volunteer Fire Department (Company 200) to setup a landing zone on Route 42. Rescue 491, Engine Tanker 494 and Engine 495 responded.
